Construction time is only two weeks once the fabric is received in our factory in Manhattan.

 Construction

Frame
Our Hardwood Frame is hand built using the finest “Kiln Dried” Alder for maximum strength and resistance to warping and cracking. All corners and arms have extra reinforcement for added strength. Our frames feature a lifetime warranty against breakage or cracking to the original purchaser under normal household useage.
 
 

Springs
We use heavy 8 gauge sinuous seat springs on most styles. Our springs system is attatched using Teflon coated clips to resist noise.
 
 

Cushion Cores
Our standard cushion is a sandwich construction featuring 2.0 density foam surrounded by slightly softer foam and double fiber wrap for comfort. Our standard cushions feature a 5 year warranty against loss of resiliency. All cushions will soften somewhat with normal useage and that is considered normal. Loss of resiliency is when the foam core resists the ability to recover from compression. Polyester wraps will flatten somewhat over time and cause some wrinkling of the fabric depending on the level of firmness of the original core, this is considered normal wear. We suggest you rotate the cushions weekly to distribute the wear evenly adding to the life of your cushions.
 
 

Premium HR Foam Cores

Our premium HR (High Resiliency) foam core is the pinnacle of comfort and durability for seat foam. This is a mimimun of a 3.0 density core surrounded by double layers of polyester fiber for loft. We offer a lifetime warranty against loss of resiliency on all HR Seat Cushions.
 
 

Down Blend “Feathercloud” Cushions

Feathercloud cushions consist of a high resiliency foam core surrounded by a channeled casing filled with down, feathers and super soft polyester fibers for comfort and resiliency. The down proof ticking encasing this fill while breathable, does create a feather barrier, however, in time, some or down may poke through. This is considered normal and is not a defect. Normal fluffing of the cushion will help regain the loft of the filling.
     Downblend "70/30" Seat & Back Filling: For the most luxurious "cloud-like" feel, nothing compares to our premium 70/30 downblend fill using 70% imported goose feathers and 30% imported goose down.
 
 

Fabrics
Many of the fabrics we choose for our selection are designed for heavy use areas. Most of the fabrics containing polyester or synthetic yarns are the most durable and easy to clean. Natural fibers tend to be soft and breathe wel, but can be more difficult to spot clean yons tend to have a lustrous and beautiful appearance, but are more suitable for moderate use areas.
